I am a Ph.D. Candidate in political science at UCLA
in the fields of American Politics, Race and Ethnic Politics,
and Formal and Quantitative Methods.
In 2009-2010, I am a visiting scholar at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University.
I research how voting and other political behavior is affected by the context in which a person lives interacting with their identity.
My primary interest is in the effect of residential racial segregation on voter participation.
